Tonight's the big night for the daughter and me. Well, my part is merely limited to being the chauffeur during the big snow storm that is supposed to hit us this evening.
But oh, the lure of the vampire calls and Lord help me if my daughter misses it!

Hey, Catherine has had her ticket for a week now! I can't wait, but I might need to, because the youngest probably isn't going to want to see it yet. So I'll need to swap babysitting. She wants to see high school musical 3 (gag!)
I love that poster--I haven't seen that one yet!
Oh, no! You're going to have a mutiny on your hands! And I agree on the HSM3, gag!! Tell Catherine I feel for her!
Catherine will just go with her friends tonight, so no worries. I'd hate to face her teenage angst if she missed this one! :)
I love the movie and the books. I really want to see the movie again but I fear the prospect of being a movie nerd.lol.
Kelly, so sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I can only claim the holiday as my excuse (this was the first year I done all of the cooking by myself!).
After a week, my daughter has decided that the movie is terrific. Her initial reaction was that it didn't follow the books-EXACTLY! I had to convince her that no movie ever does, and now she is wanting to go watch it again and is in eager anticipation of New Moon, the movie.
My only request is that they release it earlier in the year-we were expecting a large snowstorm and, even though we went early, we had to wait until 10pm to see it. I sat through the movie wondering what the weather was doing and didn't enjoy it as much as I could have.
