Here we are, a whole month later and I've only posted two blog entries since the last one. I am a bad blogger! I was determined to at least get five entries posted in April and fell far short of it. I even had them plotted out in my head, and started one only to get sidetracked by fighting children, barking puppy, and a quarreling hubby. Life, it interfers.
Anyway, here we are at another What Are You Reading? post.
I've been on a re-read spell. Some of my old favorites were needing re-read.

My TBR list keeps growing. It's insane...
I hope to read: Natural Born Charmer by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (sp?), the second book in the Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes mystery series, plus several that I've had on loan from a friend for months. I also added some research books to the pile for my WIP so we'll see how that goes.
Vows sounds good!
Btw, non-book reading...ever read Pioneer Woman's blog? It's great! City girl meets cowboy only it's true life and hilarious. PW even has a saga of her love called High Heels to Tractor Wheels or some such thing. Great reading.
Stephanie, my big sis is a huge SEP fan and Natural Born Charmer is high on her list of recommended reads. I have it here somewhere-the good Lord knows where-and have been meaning to read it. Time to dig it out of the depths of the bookshelf.
Vows is such a great book! I could go on and on about Vows and A Heart So Wild-they are at the top of my favorite list! I definitely recommend it anyone that loves western romances.
I've not seen that blog, but I am heading that way now to check it out. I love finding new blogs, so thank you for recommending it!
I absolutely loved Johanna Lindsey's A Heart So Wild. I still reread that one from beginning to end and sigh like crazy.
My TBR pile is small right now. I just finished Gaelen Foley's Her Every Pleasure. I'm reading Lessons in Desire by Madeline Hunter. And next up is Christina Dodd's newest paranormal-the title escapes me at present.
But my TOP priority right now isn't reading it's revising. So hopefully my small TBR pile will aide that.
I'm on a Harlequin kick! I just finished Baby on the Run by Kate Little and A Man Worth Keeping (LOVED it!) by Molly O'Keefe.
I've developed a definite passion for small town set romances, which should be no surprise, considering that's where I live. :)
Oh, my mom just returned Heart's Delight by Ruth Ryan Langan to me--we trade books all the time now--and she loved it, so it's next on my list. It sounds really cool; an unwed Irish immigrant Molly rescues two men, a sheriff and an outlaw, and she doesn't know which is which.
Kelly, I am so glad to find another Chandos fan (isn't he the greatest hero?).
Oh, please don't tell me that I have slipped up and forgotten to get hubby the newest CD paranormal! He has been on my butt to preorder and I keep forgetting. He loves Christina Dodd's paranormals-which is funny because my man is a big strapping manly man.
Revisions, sigh, I feel for you. They're the reason I am rereading the older books. If I buy new books, I'll forget to finish revisions. I wish you luck with yours.
Gillian, I am writing that book title down, it sounds like a great one.
I love small town set books (I bet you couldn't tell that ;0)). I think it does have to do with being a small town girl and that is what I can relate to. I do like a good regency now and then, too, but my heart belongs to the small town books.
